DISTRICT MEETING RAFFLE AND BASKETS

All Clubs within each District send representatives and members to the annual District meeting in Fall. Prior to the meeting, members are given an opportunity to purchase inexpensive fellowship raffle tickets at their regular club meetings. Total raffle funds are divided by $1000 to determine the number of fellows drawn at the District meeting. All raffle tickets are then entered for a chance to win a basket of goodies (worth at least $100) at District Meeting.

REGION CONFERENCE FELLOWSHIP GAMES

keyThe Fellowship board annually develops a "game theme" with chances to win Fellowships. (The theme changes from year to year--currently it is the "Keys of Knowledge". Each chance (key) costs $10, with the goal to sell 100 chances per game, and a $1000 fellowship is award to person with the winning number key pulled for that game. The minimum number of games planned is set by the annual fellowship budget, and may be increased if there is a demand; usually 8-10 games are played at Conference. Fellowship board members visit clubs in their district and bring advanced sales of chances for these games, especially nice for people not able to attend in person.

FUN FOR FELLOWSHIP

Clubs may develop their own fines, raffles, or games to collect money for Fellowship. Or the Fellowship District Director may offer a special "Fun for Fellowship" idea to promote fundraising. Club members may be asked to empty all their coins into the collection jar at every meeting in February, or perhaps the club will "fine" members for birthdays and special occasions. If enough funds are raised, the fellowship director may be able to pool the money to award extra fellowships to members!

CLUB DONATIONS

Clubs are encouraged to put $1000 Fellowship in their budget. Many clubs save for an annual or semi-annual Fellowship. Once purchased, clubs often decide to surprise a member or perhaps raffle off a fellowship at a meeting.

When the club is ready to name a fellow, please use this form and send to the appropriate District Director: D1 D2 D3 D4 D5 D6
